Peace - allegorical sculpture

Moving away from the razzmatazz of Christmas I've uploaded today an image of part of one of  the allegorical sculptures (which adorns the bridge over the River Kelvin near the Kelvingrove Art Galleries , Glasgow) and overlaid it with a watery image to create my own abstract for peace. The young woman is glancing down at her child as she works at her spinning wheel. There are 8 bronze masterpieces by Paul Montford, erected in 1926, depicting contrasting aspects of human society. Peace is something most of us endorse in the Western world.
