A quiet New Years Eve

We were both out at work today but I managed to stay out of offices and take a new colleague on some visits to schemes in Southwark and Lambeth.
We’re not big on New Years Eve parties so met up with M&L and Dan at teatime for an early dinner and drinks at the Black Dog. Not only do they have an vast selection of craft beer but a great menu to suit all tastes. I was craving ribs and kofte, a meat feast.
We did finish with a game a pool and a short in the Magpie, but we were home by 9pm, and I was asleep on the sofa half an hour later.
