Calm before the storm?

Such a beautiful day today. Woke up to temperatures of  - 7.8C this morning with clear skies and the promise of a wonderful winter's day and the possibility of some good images to choose from for today's upload.

It wasn't as easy as I thought - shots of hoar frost on fence posts, latticework of trees, shadow, sun, snow and grass didn't work out. This was the best of the bunch.

Why "Calm before the storm?" Well the forecasters are threatening up to 10cms of snow tomorrow - but we'll just have to wait and see if it happens.
