Hard to beat that for the weirdest New Year’s Eve ever. After all my visitors had gone off to their NYE functions, I was showered and put to bed. Then I watched Jools & Co pretending that it was New Year’s Eve. Rick Astley was good, I thought, as the smuggled-in red wine mixed with my meds.
