evening all.

We have had the best New Year's eve.

Sat on a beach, around a hastily but tremendously well built fire, we lay on our backs and stared at starry sky, and lost ourselves in the majesty of the moment .

Food was cooked on the fire, the talk was wonderful, the company more so.

We didn't even clock the time until it was nearly upon us , and then we sat and watched other people's fireworks light the sky.

As the temperature dropped to minus 2, we tried some light trails and light painting which didn't go as well as we'd hoped due to the camera starting to fog up , but really, we didn't care,

because it was marvellous.
