Welcoming 2020

A windy day, and that wind has been bitterly cold.  There has been some bright spells. 

I slept way longer than planned, the head was thumping this morning!  A late breakfast was waiting for me when I finally got up.  We've been out for a walk up the river and around Aviemore, which helped clear the cobwebs.  A quiet evening, before heading out for my birthday dinner, and not as many drams tonight!  39 today, eek! 

What a great night had by all, and got back about 2.30am.  This band, the McEliggots, played until just after the bells, taking in the bells with traditional Auld Lang Syne, closely followed by High Way to Hell, which to me is a great song to start the new decade.  2019 was a mixture of highs and lows, hoping 2020 will be a good one.  Happy New Year again.  Taken in the Winking Owl, Aviemore.
