The Elves, their little dog, and some knitted toys

Happy New Year to all my blip friends.
The elves asked Santa to rescue a little dog for them to care for, so here is the Christmas present he brought them.
They have called him Pal. He is happy to stay in the tree with them until we put it down on 12th Night. When I went on a short canal walk it was freezing cold but there were swans and some mallards on the canal.
The early morning was bright and blue skied, but by afternoon the light was not amazing to take photos.
Paul and me have Skyped a few family members and now he is making some delicious raspberry ice cream with the Lakeland ice cream maker.
I have a whole list of evening films I hope to be watching, and a lovely salmon meal to look forward to, followed by the ice cream and Scottish shortbread. Life is good.
