Bright Start

In Tywyn the new year dawned clear and when the sun rose there were a few minutes of bright sunshine. It caught my eye from inside the cafe - I dashed out and caught this view of Sir Haydn, loco for the first train of 2020, coaling up, as seen looking through the guards van.

The railway New Year party last night was fun, including a quiz as well as music and food. Having stayed to help clean up after, it was 2am before I got to bed, just before noisy neighbours returned :-(. Today’s 9am start in the cafe was much too early. ... I had a little snooozzzze when I got back at 4 :-)
