Mystery

Every Christmas someone leaves flowers at the base of the big old Redwood  in the ancient cemetry of Bordesly Abbey. There are no marked graves there, just a few scattered broken equally ancient tombstones.
This was the start of a short andd very muddy walk which was cut short when we had a choice ofwalking through a flood, ankle deep mud, or returning home. I discovered that my walking boots leaked, so it wasn't a hard choice really.
