Kinship on New Years Eve

Tradition says we share a meal together as a family every New Year's Eve. Now because of varying work schedules the time and place are subjective from year to year. For many years my work was the hardest to schedule around, but these days that's not the case. Recalling those days is beneficial in reminding me to be warm to the need for change. So this is my current tribe, the ones who I pray for the most, and the ones who bring me the most joy. Tonight we sit down and break bread together, thank you, Lord.
