Out with the old...

I got a fire going outside and we gathered round it throwing negativity and crap from 2019 onto it, sharing some hopes and intentions for 2020, keeping somethings to ourselves.

Fire can be cathartic, casting your troubles and worries into the inferno, hope rising phoenix-like from the flames. But it was impossible not to dwell a little on the terrible, destructive fires on the other side of our world. We shared our hopes that all those affected would be ok, and more of our species might just learn from both the Australian and Amazonian fiery catastrophes.
