I Lost My Head

Preparing to visit the Millar clan in Edinburgh to celebrate the New Year, I took today’s Blipfoto of three of our Oak trees which are well into their second century.

The middle one suffered some wind damage which required fairly major pruning, losing the head or crown.

Today is brilliant blue sky from horizon to horizon and the trees are in bright sun and deep shadow.

A very pleasant evening of conversation and food and we are joined by Dan And Elspeth to see in the New Year.
