Long Day

My day started early with Jake having to check something outside about 4.45am, bit early for my liking but I went with it as I love the cool early mornings.

We walked after breakfast and always pass some very old and very tall palm trees and today I noticed in one section the top layer of bark had split open and revealed layers and layers of fibrous beauty. Took a couple of shots in passing.

Wasn't till I got back home and reviewed my shots that I saw how really interesting it was, definitely blippable :)

It's now 10pm and I'm wilting, must lay my head down, Jake has been asleep for hours and will probably wake me up early again ugh!
