Oxford Canal

BK had gone off early to swim in the Thames.  Not my idea of fun!  The boys went off to play cricket and I went out for a wander. First stop was a local graveyard where Tolkien is buried, then I headed to the canal and had a wander along the towpath.  When I got back I was locked out, luckily the boys were not too long.

After lunch we had to set off on the long journey home.  It was awful.  TT decided to take the sat nav route, which is not the route we would normally take.  The weather was awful, we got caught up in roadworks and the volume of traffic was just hideous.

We were so glad to eventually get home.  A very long journey.
