Signing off 2019
The forecast was set fair. The tide times suited a morning walk so we were on our travels by 9am. Car parked and off on the old railway track towards Ravenscar. We dropped down onto the beach at Boggle Hole. What a treat to have this view of Robin Hoods Bay. Lots of people and dogs enjoying the day.
We stopped off for a mug of Yorkshire tea overlooking the bay. Not a breath of wind and warmth from the sun made for perfect conditions.
As we walked back to the car all the car parks were crammed full. As we drove home we passed hundreds of cars heading for the coast. Not sure we should admit it but we felt rather smug having avoided the crowds.
Hope you all have a very Happy New Year.
