Winch

There are quite a few old winches along the shore in the village. This one is looking very tidy, even though it is years since it was last used. 

Most of them are just about rusted to pieces and smothered in undergrowth. I took photos of some them when we first came to live in the village, but perhaps it's time for an up date!
