Job done!

Apologies if this is an odd photo for New Year's Eve but it represents the achievements of our day and several hours of hard work.  Andy and I dug up the hedge which was at the front of the house as it was getting too big and we want to use the space for some shrubs that will be more attractive. We transplanted the hedge - comprising around 10 hawthorn, hornbeam and hazel - to the back garden to fill a gap in the hedge bordering the garden.  Merlin of course gave us a helping hand by distributing the cuttings we took off the hedging all over the garden.  It feels like a good job done!  So now we are cooking dinner and hoping to sit down and relax and finish our festive jigsaw puzzle.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2020.
