Nature Diary... As one project ends another begins

I am using cotton embroidery thread to create this cheerful image symbolising the end of one year, the beginning of another; the ending so soon of one season and slowly drifting towards another and yet another; until we once more find ourselves making our way towards a familiar harbour to perhaps start a new journey, possibly one we have never taken before, and to complete another trip, however small, on our precious and well loved Planet. 
The ending of the year two thousand and nineteen as the year two thousand and twenty sails gracefully around Planet Earth.
