2019 Sunday — San Diego Grandkids

We told the kids we’d be in San Diego by 11:30 and we’d stop at the local Subway Sandwiches and get lunch for all of us and bring it to the house.

So Justin and Tristan met us at Subway so they could order the sandwiches just the way they wanted them and one for Desiree. Mr. Fun & I got a a foot long tuna salad sandwich and had it cut in half. I brought three big bags of chips from home — Ruffles, Fritos, and Cheetos — and I had also brought beverages. So when we all got to the house the first thing on the agenda was to eat lunch together.

This was our “Christmas” with the San Diego gang. So after lunch we took the 3 pup for a walk through that neighborhood and then we went back to the house to give them their Christmas gifts.

We had a good time with Desiree, our granddaughter, and her family. Her husband Justin has just returned home from a month long deployment with the U.S. Navy and he will be leaving again in late January for a several month deployment.

We were grateful to miss grid-lock traffic going to and returning from San Diego.
