What's on the dark side of the moon?

After a busy day today I arrived home very late, but I did notice that the moon followed me home.

It's not the first time he's followed me and it was lovely to stand in the cooler night air in the driveway while I admired his glow and took his photo.

If you can see the moon from wherever you are tonight, tell me if you see him the same as I do here in Australia. Is he a lower arc, as he is here? Or is he an upper arc at your place?

I wonder if what you can see is the dark side of the moon for me!

I've heard that the moon is different when viewed at the same time but from different hemispheres.

It could be fun to see if the theory is right! :)
