China Is ‘Toe-In’ On His Front Foot

During my hack out on China yesterday he was slipping on the road, so I was glad that the farrier was visiting today.

Eldest and I went to the yard to meet him as I decided it would be easier to change farriers when I changed yards. Well what a character he is...Eldest and I had a 20 minute lecture from him on horses feet, confirmation and farriery...whilst he was telling me everything he was going to change about the shape of China’s hooves. Here he was showing me how China is ‘toe in’ on this front foot and so the line from the leg bone through the foot is not central...it will be interesting to see how it all looks after a few visits of his reshaping!
