Tree Cathedral

Took advantage of a beautiful sunny morning (and a clear diary) to have a longer walk.  This time from Shotover Country park, on the edge of Oxford, around what was at one time the Shotover Estate. 

One of my favourite bits of the loop is this magnificent tree lined gallop - which always makes me think I'm walking through a long tree-lined cathedral.

UPDATE: Seems that this walk is now an annual tradition on 30th December.
