Beauty in Decay

This morning the weather was fabulously bright and sunny. Despite getting up late (I blame that on the dark mornings here in the Northern Hemisphere) I managed to get washing done and hung outside to dry. Then I decided to cut all the old leaves off my hellebores as, apparently, it helps to get better flowers. While in the garden shed I found a rusty old tin which I had been saving as a potention background. I thought it would go well with one of the fading roses from the lovely bouquet I received a week ago.
