I went to Geographe Bay, the other side of the cape from Smiths Beach and Yallingup, because the colours of the reverse sunset there are usually pretty in pastels.

It was ok but not breathtaking. There was a cold wind and I was surprised to see these two actually in the water!

We had a few worrying moments this afternoon when two helitacs and a fixed wing water bomber flew overhead. There was a bushfire about 5ks from us with the strong sea breeze blowing the flames exactly in our direction!  I was following it intently on the Emergency WA app and it was soon under control. Deliberately lit apparently - bastards!! Sadly another volunteer firefighter lost his life today. These fires are unrelenting.
