Unwelcome guest

Was looking forward to watching the cricket but my enthusiasm faded as the game progressed.  Sadly the Kiwi's are looking every bit the also-rans.  Let's not take it away from Australia though - they've been superb in virtually every department.  Such a pity that we just haven't been competitive.

Went out in the evening to S&J's for J's birthday BBQ.  Despite having felt very much like a home-bunny lately, I'm very pleased I went.  Lovely people, lovely food, great banter and some hilarious games to round off a lovely night.

What wasn't quite so lovely was not being warmly greeted by LB's purrs and miaows when I arrived home.  And this chap on the ceiling left me feeling cold.....
