The remarkable Remarkables

Gloriously sunny day here with a fresh breeze blowing in from the lake. Spent the afternoon walking around observing all the things one can do on a lake. Put me in mind of time spent by Lake Geneva visiting with my brother. Everywhere is so pristine, apart from the kitchen in the hostel that is. Spent a while with a scrubber this morning in an attempt to improve things slightly, not convinced my efforts were worth while but I quite enjoyed it.
Had a stroke of luck today though. I was looking at the forecast for my proposed couple of nights camping to discover tomorrow will be around 29 degrees followed by two days of rain. Neither are ideal conditions for camping but they are, however, perfect for sandflies. With this in mind I thought it couldn’t harm to ask if the hostel had had any cancellations and low and behold I managed to book a bed for the next two nights! Happy days.
