Turtles All The Way Down

Super

I had a fantastic day with Ma today as we continued our now annual tradition of going to see the London Concert Orchestra led by Anthony Inglis perform "The Music of Zimmer vs Williams". Though we've seen the show a few times before, we're never disappointed as these are 2 of our favourite movie score composers, and you can't beat a live orchestra. Even better though, they threw in a few changes to the set list this year, and I was very happy to hear Kraken (from Pirates of the Caribbean 2) live. I was also insanely relieved because I'd been panicking a bit about the seating; I'm quite a large lass and I usually have a problem wedging myself into the seats at the Symphony Hall, and was not at all looking forward to wedging my still very bruised self in. Happily, I'm not sure whether they've changed the seating itself, the arms of the chairs, or whether I've just been unfortunately seated in the past because I didn't have a problem at all. Phew! Post-orchestra we went to Wagamama for a very delicious dinner; all in all an excellent day!

NB. Please note this picture was taken during the tune up; I'm not some sort of phone wielding orchestral experience ruining heathen!
