"You Are My Sunshine"

This picture reminded me of the song, "You Are My Sunshine." It was first recorded in 1939 and is Louisiana's State Song. None of this I knew before looking it up today.

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

The other night, dear
As I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms.
When I awoke, dear
I was mistaken
And I hung my head and cried.

It's actually not such a happy song now that I read more of it. But it has happy connotations to me, so we'll stick with it for this picture.
