Unfulfilled promise

At 8:30 this morning, I saw a patch of blue sky and rushed out to photograph lest it disappear for good. There were about five seconds of sunshine (extra) and that was the end. The rest of the day has been cloudy and dull with a cold wind and a high of 37.  Which is what you would expect in December.

I see that Hilary Mantel's third part of the Thomas Cromwell trilogy is scheduled for release in March. The Mirror and the Light.   I certainly look forward to that!
