„Je m’appelle Erik Satie comme tout le monde“

The name of the theatre play we attended this afternoon in a small theatre on rive gauche. Just a small theatre, well underground and played by two persons only. It was a about the famous composer and pianist Erik Satie. Even if you don‘t know him, you‘ve probably heard some pieces from him - as this for example.

We were lucky that metro line no. 1 is still running (only the two automated lines are currently running, all others on strike). So we had no real issue to get to the theatre and back. On the way we bought the best Chausson aux pommes ever, in the boulangerie de la Tour (see extra). Walking back the sun was shining towards the buildings on Île Saint-Louis, with the Notre-Dame on the left.
