The siege is raised

Here's a third illustration from 'The blind saint of Messalina'. Lorna's caption reads:

"The siege" said Victor, "is raised, Elaine, owing to the help of this saint".

We believe that the saint is little Michael, Victor is here in the purple robe, and Elaine is the princess in green.

Thank you so much to everyone for their congratulations and comments on yesterday's 100th blip. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated as we continue to blip the war diary and writings/art work of Lorna (By the way, we have made a start on transcribing the text of Told round the fire. It makes for interesting(!) reading that we hope to share at some point soon.)
