Bracing

Lucy requested a beach walk, but when we went down to Low Hauxley this morning it was decidedly bracing (understatement)! So we didn't go far before turning back to the cafe at Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre, where we warmed up with tea and scones. Then a walk round the path to the hides. Lots of birds to be seen -  herons, an egret (extra), lapwings, and all sorts of waterfowl. As we were leaving, MrM spotted a red squirrel on one of the feeders.
