planning ahead...

...for christmas next year

something i never do - however there are lots out there who do... go to after season sales - stocking up - getting bargains - making deals... they'd seen something prior to the holiday, go back to get it now - they have the whole routine down to a science - checking advertisements - making a plan, devising a map, coordinating timeframes, plotting strategies... i kid you not - these people exist - i know several of them myself and wonder how they do it... as for me, i'd rather sleep those extra hours away or do something i consider fun - though they exclaim with great enthusiasm that this planning ahead is fun for them - let them have it...

well, without trying - i found the perfect christmas tree topper today for them - rather unusual - not an angel or jesus - a snowman or star... but it fit just right on top of the biggest tree - a gorgeous goose! incredibly straight, balanced with wings outstretched... he both made me smile and cost nothing - which made for...
