The Voice is stilled

It was Sarah's birthday today and we gave her the retro-style record player she wanted.
As soon as it was unveiled Casey took up the pose made famous by Nipper, the terrier who's been the logo of His Master's Voice gramophone company for over a hundred years.
I had to break the news. "Casey" I said "I'm afraid that HMV is no more, the company has collapsed and the shops have all closed down."
Well, his reaction was catastrophic as you can see: "WHAT??? NO-O-O-O!!!!" he howled, "But, but... Nipper? He's the most famous Jack Russell ever!"
"Sorry Casey" I said, "but that's the way it is now: you can be an icon one day and the next - landfill!"
