Still hole

This hole in the middle of fields between our parish capital Sontheim and our village has been open since at least March. In it is a  wonderful plastic-wrapped bomb like contraption and lots of cables. It is clearly a major junction in the parishes broadband fibre network.

Nothing appears to have happened since March but a few days after this photo was taken, the hole was filled and the barriers removed. So some progress.
