Playing shop

The boys were given a 'shop' for Christmas by a friend.  I had the pleasure of putting it together this morning, which was quite a task and a little frustrating at times (a lot frustrating).  However, it has been played with most of the day - and is now reinforced with tape, I'm not sure it was designed with boys in mind. Granny's Christmas present of a till has gone down very well and I have been buying things all day (trade was in toy barns and clothes pegs, mostly). 

We had a swim this morning, which is always a good family morning.  We have free membership of the pool where we live, but it's really cold and not much fun, so we went to the local town where there is a really good pool, with a small pool for children - perfect for getting up confidence in children.  

Spent the afternoon playing with the boys.  Christmas has been great for a new influx of toys, meaning it's really nice spending time exploring new toys and firing imaginations.
