Great grandma

We took a visit over to Ipswich today to visit my grandma and the children’s great grandma. I was a bit embarrassed by how long it’s been since we last went but the opening of the new A14 cut down the travel time no end, so we aim to go back much more often!

We had a lovely lunch all together and a good catch up. For an 88 year old, grandma is as fit as fiddle and has a better social life than I do! She had lots of tales to tell of holidays and Saturday night dance clubs. Phoebe was keen to learn more about the war and when grandma had been evacuated as a child. She could remember it all as clearly as if it had happened yesterday and could remember the address of where she stayed. James managed to find the house on google street view and it was lovely for grandma to see it again after so long (even if the street is much different these days!)
