Mum Becky fancied an outing today as it was forecast to be a sunny one so we drove to Jamaica Pond, south of Boston where they dropped Tony and I to do parkrun, whilst they took a stroll around the Arnold Arboretum.  It was indeed a lovely, sunny morning for running around the lake, although not such an interesting course as when they temporarily moved to the Arboretum.

Afterwards we drove to Ula’s Cafe for breakfast which is part of the Sam Adams Brewery and very popular with a constant stream of folks coming in for breakfast and coffee.  Luckily we managed to nab a corner where Euan slept in his car seat throughout the background hubbub and we were able to enjoy our breakfasts.

Becky wanted a family photo to make in to a card to send to the neighbours who have dropped by with cookies and cakes and cards over Christmas, so we had a photo shoot before Euan got too sleepy.  He wasn’t very interested though and preferred to stare at Grandad who was on the floor trying to make him smile!
