Dark in the Shadow of Diablerets

The traditional village of Taveyanne is always in the shade at this time of year so it is not a place to hang about. The cross country track was perfect but I went late in the afternoon so had to get back up to the télécabine as there is not enough snow at the bottom of the slopes. The trouble was all the normal skiers had to get down too. After half an hour it was dusk as I travelled in the telecabine and the mist was coming up to meet us (extra).
