Post Christmas gloom

A remarkably gloomy day today! Still, there are fishcakes and beans for dinner and we have about a hundredweight of chocolates still to eat and so there is hope!

To help brighten my day I have been scanning some old colour transparencies. The extra is a 2.25 inch Ektachrome taken in 1971. the subject is a Fijian bure (house) up in the Nausori Highlands on the island of Viti Levu.
