The Finish Line

We’ve had a couple of days in Hobart and have managed to catch some of the yachts crossing the finish line on the Sydney to Hobart race. This wasn’t the first, but the time of day suited us better! Also pleased to see this one as it is called Naval Group, and was crewed by French and Australian personnel as well as some people currently serving in the Royal Australian Navy. The team is a conglomeration of the people involved in design and build of the new class of Australian submarines.

We also got to experience the Salamanca markets and the taste of Tasmania food festival. A great day out!
