Dangerous

A lot of people are frightened to go into our park... they think they will get attacked by thugs and drunks...........

There are definitely drunk people in the park.. i see them early in the morning when i walk milly... they are staggering around with cans of beer in their hands.
They sit by the old gate (stone entrance to kings lynn, or on the bandstand.(will blip it sometime)

I have lived opposite the park for nearly three years and have never had any problems - i walk in there every day and sometimes in the dark both in the morning and evenings.

I do think it is a shame that the park is labelled unsafe and i know some of my childrens parents will not let their children walk through the park without an adult in tow (13 - 16 year olds!!!).

i think we need to teach our kids how to look after themselves so they are aware - we cannot shield them from danger always and it is better to be aware of the dangers..
I would never let my daughter walk through the park alone at night but she walks home from school everyday through the park and the only bother she gets is from other kids who go to different schools to her.

The park is truely beautiful and i love it... but i dont love the mess left by the drunks and people who do not pick up their litter or after their dogs... it gives all dog owners a bad name.
