The aborted goalkeeper training session

As if my doubts about the club's "seriousness" were not correct, we have the fiasco of tonight.

We'd decided to send Ottawacker Jr. to have some goalkeeping training, despite only being 6, and for once the club had managed to arrange something that looked interesting (with a proper coach).

We arrive at the appointed spot, for 7 p.m. at Di Salvo's, to find two other sets of goalkeeper and parent there - but no coach. 7 arrives, 7:05, 7:10 etc.... so Ottawacker Jr. and another keeper just get onto the field and start playing... which they do till 8 p.m. Then we leave.

The next day - the NEXT DAY, mind, the club sends an email... not apologising for its egregious screw up but saying it has decided not to offer the course "due to lack of interest" and will refund the $165 we paid in due course.

Pricks. I think I need to find Ottawacker Jr. a new club as soon as possible. Maybe when I get back from Europe.
