A bit of sorting and tidying!

My aunt has been partly incapacitated due to a broken hip/ surgery. As those of you who follow my journal know this means I have been helping out with lifts in to town, shopping etc. Each time I have done something for her my aunt would add money to a tin. I kept insisting it’s what nieces do and that it repays all the things she did for us as kids (and that was a lot!) but her stubbornly independent nature meant she kept adding to the tin. She gave me it for Xmas - £95!! So I’ve bought sis and I a couple of storage units from IKEA (delivered cos no way on God’s earth am I walking into an IKEA at Xmas!!) Today they arrived and are now assembled and in use. Then it was a trip to the top with a car load of cardboard (with another trip tomorrow I shouldn’t wonder) and now back at home with the buggered knee giving me hell.
