English winter

Well it is mid January and we still have no sign of snow in our little corner of England. It has been a bit frosty lately, but my roses are still in bloom outside and have a number of new buds. This kind of gardening is all very new to me. I am not sure if I need to cut my roses back or if I should just leave them till spring and see what happens.
