An invaluable service

The nearest A&E departments from here are in Grimsby, Lincoln and Boston, 17, 26 and 30 odd miles away, respectively. We are, therefore, very grateful to have a service at Louth Hospital which deals quickly and efficiently with urgent conditions. Today's episode concerned a granddaughter's boy friend who has a dramatic allergic reaction to peanuts. Fortunately, he was treated promptly and is now safely tucked up in bed.
