Wholly Holly & Wet As Hell, Aylesford

Yesterday was very enjoyable indeed. Me and my brother always do the cooking, so we've more or less got things down to fine art. Nearly forgot the pigs in blankets this time, which would have been a disaster!
I got some fantastic presents, including two photobooks - one on Tony Ray-Jones and the other a stunning set of images by Alex Webb and his wife Rebecca Norris Webb.
Tony Ray-Jones spent quite a bit of time in America in the mid to late sixties and said coming back from there to England felt like travelling from a world of colour back to one that was black and white. Yesterday was definitely a day of colour due to the sunshine whereas today was very certainly black and white due to the foul weather.
Still, I've had another excellent day of food, wine, some great telly and a lot of relaxation!
