Today’s instalment
This is the Women in Science jigsaw that the lovely CarolineJay sent for my birthday - I had heard of all the names (some only very vaguely, mind) except for Wang Zhenyi, b. 1768, who explained how eclipses work, wrote poetry about social injustice, and authored a five-volume guide to mathematics before her death aged 29.
