Boxing Day Dumper

Another spectacularly lazy day…

We set off home around 10 a.m., dropping son off at his house on the way, got back around 11:30 for coffee.

A quick play with some Christmas gifts and then lunch (soup and sandwich) whilst watching the Queen’s broadcast on catchup.

Then out for a proper walk - about an hour, which is more than enough for Finlay. Found this lovely little rusty dumper at one of the smallholdings nearby. I imagine driving it may be a tad uncomfortable as there is no seat to sit on!

Also managed to wash and dry all the bedding and towels that we used at our daughter’s - all packed up and ready to return at the weekend.

Tea is a quick stirfry - chicken and ‘oriental’ veg, with a home made satay sauce.

No doubt there will be lots of beer and chocolates consumed later.
