Meeting Day 1

Breakfast, and then walked out to St. Mary's University, Twickenham, where we met with colleagues and started the first day of meetings to kick off a new EU funded project called GI Pedagogy. Interesting meetings and working through various admin issues, and some big questions we need to grapple with for the next few years of the project. At the end of the day, we went over to the Waldegrave Suite, in a Horace Walpole inspired building, and took part in the St. Mary's Feast Day - cue free wine all night and nice food. Out for a pint with Spanish colleague to end the day. This was the official photo that we had taken of us during the Feast, where we met the Vice Chancellor of the University Ruth Kelly.
